The race
The Corsa della Cometa is a non-competitive walk and run that opens the Christmas season in Castelnovo Bariano, in the province of Rovigo. It takes place on Tuesday 8 December 2026, with the meeting point at 7:30 in Piazza Municipale and the start at 8:30.
There are two routes, 5 km and 10 km, both flat and on asphalt. There are aid stations along the course, hot showers and refreshments at the finish, and dogs are welcome.
After the run you can visit the Christmas Village in the town centre. The event is organised by the Pro Loco of Castelnovo Bariano, with the patronage of the Municipality.
