The race
La Mezza di Garda is run on Sunday 31 January 2027 in Garda, on the Verona shore of the lake, organised by Team Otc and Team Giomas with the towns of Garda and Bardolino. Start and finish are on the Lungolago Regina Adelaide, the town's lakeside promenade, next to the Congress Centre where bibs are collected. The half marathon, certified and in the FIDAL national calendar, starts at 9:00, followed at 9:05 by the 10 km Corri Garda, competitive or non-competitive, and then the non-competitive 5.5 km Fun Run, open to all from age 14.
The course runs along the lake towards Bardolino and then climbs into Garda's inner streets before returning to the lakefront. Fees rise with the number of entrants: the half starts at €30, the 10 km at €22 and the Fun Run at €15. A race pack with local products, medal, chip, drink stations and bag drop are included; the half is capped at 2,500 entrants.
Course
Start and finish on the Lungolago Regina Adelaide in Garda. In the first half the half marathon follows the shore of Lake Garda southwards on regional road 249, below the Rocca, into the Bardolino area, and returns on the pedestrian lakefront; in the second half it heads inland through Garda's inner streets and returns to the lakefront for the finish.
The course uses municipal roads, the regional road and pedestrian and cycle paths, all on asphalt, with full or partial closure to traffic. The 10 km and the Fun Run use the same roads for the required length. The website publishes a map and an elevation profile; drink stations along the course and a final refreshment point at the start/finish.
