The race
The NN CPC Loop Den Haag is The Hague's big running festival and opens the Dutch running season. The 51st edition takes place on Sunday 14 March 2027, with every race starting on the Koningskade and finishing at the Malieveld.
The main event is the half marathon, a true City-Pier-City: from the centre it heads to the Scheveningen seafront and back to the Malieveld. The course is one of the fastest in the world: Abdi Nageeye ran the Dutch record here in 2023, and the course records belong to Samuel Wanjiru (58:33, 2007) and Lornah Kiplagat (1:06:56, 2000).
The programme also includes a 10 km and a 5 km, two youth runs (gro-up Jeugdloop 1 and 2.5 km), the 1 km NN CPC4ALL for people with a disability or chronic condition, and the Friday evening City Pier Night Walk. In 2026, for the 50th edition, there were 50,000 participants and bibs sold out early.
Entries for 2027 opened on 15 October 2026: the half costs €44 to €49.50, the 10 km €31 to €36 and the 5 km €23 to €26.

Half marathon
It links the city with the coast: from the Malieveld it crosses several districts of The Hague, reaches the Scheveningen boulevard and returns to the Malieveld for the finish, with spectators all along the way. On the 2026 map the drink stations are around km 5, 10, 15 and 18.
10 km and 5 km
After the Koningskade, the 10 km cuts through the centre and finishes on the Boorlaan, next to the Malieveld. The youth runs start and finish at the Malieveld.
