The race
The «Frauenfelder» is one of Switzerland's great running classics: first held in 1934 as a military march, it takes place on Sunday 15 November 2026.
The marathon starts at 10:30 from the Marktplatz in Frauenfeld, runs to Wil (SG) and back, with 520 metres of climbing. The half marathon (21.2 km) starts at 12:30 in Wil. The programme also includes the Juniorenlauf and the historic military march in uniform. Everyone finishes at the Kantonsschule in Frauenfeld.
