The race
The Hegnet Half opens the Danish running season in the Tisvilde Hegn forest, near the beach at Liseleje in north Zealand. In 2027 it is held over two days, Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 March, with the same race on both dates: runners pick the day that suits them.
The organisers bill it as Denmark's flattest half marathon, on a well-marked forest course with chip timing. Entry costs DKK 515 on Saturday and DKK 505 on Sunday; there is also a children's race.
