The race
The Holmestrand Maraton takes place on Saturday 3 April 2027, as every year on the Saturday after Easter, along the Holmestrand fjord and through the town centre; it has been on the calendar since 2013. All races are run on a fast 5 km loop with three aid stations.
The marathon and half start at 10:00; there are also a 10 km, a 5 km and two combinations: marathon plus 10 km (52.195 km) and half plus 5 km. Entry ranges from NOK 490 for the 5 km to NOK 990 for the marathon; places are limited (250 for the marathon, 750 for the half).
