The race
The Jurassic Express Trail Run takes place on Saturday 13 March 2027, from Swanage seafront to the ruins of Corfe Castle in Dorset, along the Jurassic Coast.
Runners choose between the half marathon (21 km, 473 m of climbing, start 9:00), 16.5 km and 10.5 km, on firm chalk paths and sandy tracks past Old Harry Rocks and Studland. After the finish a private vintage train on the heritage railway takes runners back to Swanage (ticket extra, £9). Half marathon entry from £44.50.
