The race
The ASML Marathon Eindhoven traditionally takes place on the second weekend of October: the 43rd edition is scheduled for Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 October 2027. With more than 38,000 runners and over 200,000 spectators it is the largest two-day sports event in North Brabant, organised by Golazo.
Sunday is the day of the longer road races, starting on the Montgomerylaan and finishing on the Vestdijk in the city centre:
- marathon (42.195 km), which in recent years has also hosted the Belgian marathon championship;
- half marathon (21.1 km);
- Kwart Marathon (10.55 km).
On Saturday there are the BrabantSport City Run over 5 km and the Kids Runs over 1.5 and 2.5 km, plus the Urban Walk. The event headquarters, with bib collection, changing rooms and lockers, is on the TU Eindhoven campus.
The course is officially measured and fast: in 2026 Davis Kiplangat won the marathon in 2:07:43. Fees and the opening of 2027 entries have not been published yet: the website offers an interest list.

The start is on the Veldmaarschalk Montgomerylaan, north-west of the centre, and the finish on the Vestdijk, the central street where the crowds gather. The marathon course is point to point; for 2026 it was adjusted for more running comfort and it is officially measured.
Landmarks of the 2026 marathon course include:
- Winston Churchilllaan and Kosmoslaan in the first kilometres;
- Oude Bosschebaan and Anthony Fokkerweg towards km 13;
- Noord Brabantlaan between km 22 and 24;
- the High Tech Campus between km 29 and 32;
- PSV-laan and the Philips Stadion at km 40, then the Demer and the Vestdijk.
The half marathon also passes the Philips Stadion and the Evoluon. Every kilometre is marked, with a clock every 5 km and different colour signs per distance (blue marathon, red half, green Kwart Marathon, orange City Run). Drinks at the aid stations are served in cups. The official 2026 GPX tracks can be downloaded from the website.

Rules and requirements
Who can take part
Age on race day counts:
- marathon and half marathon: 18 years;
- Kwart Marathon: 14 years;
- BrabantSport City Run 5 km: 8 years;
- Kids Run: 4-10 years (1.5 km) and 7-15 years (2.5 km).
The website does not ask for a medical certificate or licence: it recommends filling in the medical passport on the back of the bib, which is worn on the chest.
2027 entries
2027 fees have not been published yet. In 2026 the marathon cost €95, €105 or €115 depending on the tier and the half €47, €51 or €58; raising at least €500 for KWF (cancer charity) gave a free bib.
2026 edition rules
- bib with your name if you entered by 1 September;
- bib collection on the TU Eindhoven campus from Friday to Sunday; runners living abroad always collect on site;
- transfer possible from your dashboard (€5 fee for the marathon, €3 for the other races);
- cancellation only for marathon and half and only with the cancellation plan bought at registration, by 1 September;
- distance change until 1 September, paying any difference.
