The race
The Maratona Maga Circe, organised by ASD In Corsa Libera under the FIDAL umbrella, reaches its 7th edition on Sunday 7 February 2027. Founded in 2020, it is a Bronze stage of the Italian national calendar with a certified course listed in the World Athletics Global Calendar, and it has hosted the Italian senior and masters marathon championships.
The marathon and La Ventinove (29 km) start at 9:30 from the harbour of San Felice Circeo, in Via Ammiraglio Bergamini, and finish in Piazza del Comune in Sabaudia; La Dieci.6, a competitive 10.6 km, starts and finishes in Piazza del Comune, like the free Family Walk of about 2.5 km. The all-asphalt course crosses the Circeo National Park between the promontory, the coastline and the coastal lakes.
Fees range from €20 to €45 for the marathon, €22-27 for the 29 km and €15-18 for the 10.6 km. Free shuttle buses, showers, baby parking, photos and parking are provided, along with pacers, a commemorative shirt and a medal for marathon finishers.

Course
The marathon and the 29 km start from the harbour of San Felice Circeo (Via Ammiraglio Bergamini) and finish in Piazza del Comune in Sabaudia; the course, entirely on asphalt, runs along the coast between San Felice Circeo and Sabaudia, inside the Circeo National Park. According to the official 2026 map, the marathon first heads north-east at the foot of the promontory, returns towards the coast near Torre Paola and runs up the Sabaudia seafront before heading back to the town centre.
The 10.6 km is a loop starting and finishing in Piazza del Comune in Sabaudia. The website does not give a street-by-street description, but it publishes maps and elevation profiles: the course is essentially flat. Drink stations every 5 km from km 5 and a final refreshment point at the finish; runners who drop out are collected at the nearest drink station.
