The race
The 24th Palmanova City Half Marathon takes place on Sunday 29 November 2026, starting at 10:00 from Piazza Grande, the exact centre of the nine-pointed star fortress that has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2017. Organised by Eventi Sportivi Palmanova and on the FIDAL national calendar, it returns to its original course: completely flat, on asphalt and closed to traffic, with a double pass through the hamlet of Clauiano.
Fees rise in steps from €25 to €40, with online entries until 26 November or until 4,000 runners, and include a technical shirt or sweatshirt, medal, pacers, physiotherapy and a pasta party. The weekend opens on Friday with the Schools Run and on Saturday with entertainment and bib collection in Piazza Grande; on Sunday at 10:15 the «Run against violence towards women» Family Run sets off, and there is also a 21.097 km event on roller skates. Total prize money is €3,750, with €600 for the winners.
