The race
The Nordmarka Skogsmaraton reaches its 34th edition on Saturday 19 June 2027 in the Nordmarka forest north of Oslo. The organisers stress that it is not a trail race but rather a road race on gravel: only about 1.5 km of the marathon is on a path.
Distances are the half marathon, marathon and a 63.2 km ultra (start 8:00). Prices rise in steps: the marathon goes from NOK 690 (summer 2026) to NOK 990 until 18 June 2027, or NOK 1,090 on race day.
