The race

The Ringeriksmaraton takes place on Saturday 14 August 2027 in Ringerike and is Norway's largest marathon relay. The running festival was started in 1995 by the newspaper Ringerikes Blad.

Besides the individual marathon, the distance can be run as a pair or as a relay of 4 or 8 people; there is also the Barnas Ringeriksmaraton for children. Registration for 2027 is open.
