The race
The Runmaröloppen take place on Sunday 25 July 2027 on the island of Runmarö in the Stockholm archipelago: a day of running, food, ice cream and swimming, based at and finishing by Svängens Krog. The races are the 21 km half marathon and the 5.7 km Lunken (both at 13:00), plus the 1.5 km Mini-Lunken for children (11:00).
Out of respect for the island places are few: 200 for the half and 120 for the Lunken, and the organisers expect them to go within minutes. The half costs from SEK 350, including a medal and a finisher drink.
