The race
The Super Maratonina is the competitive race of the 54th Camminata di Santa Caterina, the running festival of Polisportiva Scandianese, which this year is also the 10th Memorial Umberto Guidetti. It takes place on Sunday 15 November 2026 in Scandiano, with the meeting point at Stadio Torelli from 7:45.
The competitive race covers 24 km on paved hill roads, with 450 metres of elevation gain, and starts at 9:15. At 9:20 the non-competitive walks of 9.7 and 4 km set off, open to everyone, together with the Santa Caterina School Run for Scandiano's schools.
On the track there are the Santa Caterina Young youth races, for children up to the under-14 category, over distances from 250 to 600 metres.
Course
The Super Maratonina runs on a hilly 24 km course, entirely on paved roads, with 450 metres of elevation gain. Start and finish are at Stadio Torelli, in via Togliatti.
There are three aid stations along the way plus one at the finish. The long course is reserved for the competitive race: the walks stay on the 9.7 km loop, with an aid station halfway, and the 4 km loop.
Runners must follow the highway code.

Rules and requirements

Super Maratonina 24 km
- open to athletes born in 2006 or earlier;
- a competitive medical certificate for athletics is required;
- fee €20 online on iRunning by midnight on Friday 13 November, €25 on Sunday 15 November;
- start at 9:15, time limit 2 hours 45 minutes.
Online entries are paid by Satispay or bank transfer. The fee includes a participation gift, aid stations, changing rooms and showers, timing, medical assistance with the Scandiano Red Cross and a sweeper service. The top 10 men and women are awarded.
Non-competitive walks
The 9.7 and 4 km walks are open to everyone and cost €3, paid on site up to 15 minutes before the start, with a participation gift. They start at 9:20, after the competitive race; the 30 largest groups, with at least 10 participants, are awarded.
Youth races
Entries for the Santa Caterina Young are on iRunning by Thursday 12 November or on Sunday by 9:05, for €3. Meeting point from 8:20, races from 9:20.
