The race
The FIAT Torino City Marathon is the marathon of the city of Turin: its 37th edition is on Sunday 29 November 2026, listed in the FIDAL national calendar and the World Athletics Global Calendar. The traffic-free course, one of the fastest in Italy, starts in the centre, crosses Mirafiori and the towns of Beinasco, Nichelino and Moncalieri, passes near the Stupinigi hunting lodge and returns along the Po to Piazza Vittorio Veneto and the finish in Piazzetta Reale.
The start is at 8:30 with a 5h30 time limit, eight drinks stations and pacers from 3h00 to 5h30. The same morning there are the FIAT Torino City Half Marathon, from Piazza Vittorio Veneto to Nichelino, and the City Run for everyone. Marathon fees rise from €45 to €100 online, with entries also at the Village (€120).
Bibs and race packs are collected at the Marathon Village at Green Pea, near the Lingotto, during the two days before the race. At the end of November the city is lit by the Luci d'Artista installations, a backdrop to the race weekend.
Course
Start at 8:30 in central Turin. In 2025 the course went from Via Pietro Micca along Via Cernaia, Corso Vinzaglio and Corso Duca degli Abruzzi to Largo Orbassano, then headed south via Corso IV Novembre, Corso Agnelli beside the Mirafiori plant and Corso Settembrini, looping Piazzale Caio Mario. After Corso Unione Sovietica it entered Beinasco and Borgaretto (km 17-20), then Nichelino between Viale Bernardi and Stupinigi (km 22-28), and Moncalieri along Strada Stupinigi and over the Ponte dei Cavalieri Templari (km 29-32).
The return to the city followed the Po to Ponte Balbis and Piazza Vittorio Veneto (km 40), finishing through Piazza Castello to Piazzetta Reale, in front of the Royal Palace. The 2026 course is on the interactive map of the official website. Asphalt, almost flat, with some tram tracks in the centre.
