The race
The 48th Trofeo Le Panche - Gelateria Baroncini, which also counts as the 52nd Trofeo della Liberazione, is a competitive road race of about 14 km organised by GS Le Panche Castelquarto. It takes place on Sunday 25 October 2026 and is a round of the FIDAL Tuscany Circuito Strade d'Oro.
Runners gather at 7:45 and start at 9:00 from the NIC (Nuovo Ingresso Careggi) in Largo Brambilla, Florence, which is also the finish. The fully paved, arrow-marked loop climbs from Careggi towards Sesto Fiorentino and returns via Via del Gioiello and Via dell'Osservatorio. The time limit is 2 hours.
The fee is €10 with a participation gift (€8 for UISP members and circuit entrants); entries are sent by email by Friday 23 October at 23:00, and race-morning entries are accepted until 8:00.
Course
The course is a paved, arrow-marked loop starting and finishing at the NIC in Careggi.

- Sesto Fiorentino: Via Dante da Castiglione, Via della Casina, Via delle Portacce, Via di Ruffignano, Via di Malafrasca, Via della Topaia
- Back to Florence: Via Pietro Dazzi, Via del Gioiello, Via dell'Osservatorio, Via di Boldrone, Villa La Quiete, Via Monna Tessa, Via Mario Serio and the Careggi entrance to the NIC
There is an aid station at halfway and one at the finish.

- Sports promotion bodiesMembers of an Italian sports promotion body recognised by FIDAL, with a competitive medical certificate.
- RuncardFIDAL card for runners without a club: buy it online and pair it with a competitive athletics medical certificate.

Everyone needs a competitive medical certificate valid on 25 October 2026.
Fees and entries
The fee is €10 with a participation gift, €8 for UISP members and FIDAL members entered in the Circuito Strade d'Oro; after 600 entries the fee is €5 without the gift. Enter by email at info@lepanchecastelquarto.it by 23 October at 23:00 (clubs with a list signed by the president) or on site until 8:00; payment by bank transfer or at bib collection.
