The race
The Two Rivers Marathon takes place on Sunday 21 March 2027 in Zaltbommel, between the Waal and the Meuse. It is run entirely by volunteers on a non-profit basis.
The start is at 10:00 and the finish is in Zaltbommel's historic centre: the course measures exactly 42.2 km and crosses the Bommelerwaard, mostly along the dykes of both rivers. The time limit is 5 hours, with pacers from 3:00 to 4:30. There is also the DUO marathon, with the changeover at halfway.
