The race
The Benetti Livorno Half Marathon, organised by ASD Livornomarathon with the City of Livorno, holds its 9th edition on Sunday 8 November 2026 and is part of the national UISP calendar and the Tuscan running Criterium. The start is at 9:00 on Via dei Pensieri, next to the Armando Picchi stadium, and the finish is at the athletics training ground on Via Allende, with all services within 200 metres.
The course, fully paved, flat and closed to traffic, crosses the centre through Piazza Grande, Via Grande and Piazza della Repubblica, enters the Benetti shipyard, passes the Aquarium and the Naval Academy and runs along the Viale Italia seafront to Antignano. Alongside the half there is the Stralivorno, a non-competitive run of about 10 km.
There is a single fee of €30 until 5 November (€40 at the Expo over the weekend), including T-shirt, gadgets, medal, showers and bag drop; the Expo is in the Cosmelli sports hall.

Course
Start on Via dei Pensieri, at the south stand gates of the stadium, heading north. According to the 2024 street list, the course runs along Via Nazario Sauro, Barriera Roma, Viale della Libertà, Via Marradi, Piazza Attias and Corso Amedeo, then through the heart of the city: Piazza Cavour, Via Cairoli, Largo Duomo, Piazza Grande, Via Grande, Piazza della Repubblica and Piazza del Municipio.
It reaches the port via Via Cialdini and the Scali Novi Lena, enters and leaves the Benetti shipyard on Via Fagni and takes Viale Italia, passing the Bellana side road, the Aquarium car park and the Naval Academy. After a detour towards Via Machiavelli and Villa Letizia it returns to the seafront to the Ardenza roundabout and Antignano (Via Pendola, Via Vespucci, Via Pigafetta), with the turnaround, and comes back via Viale Italia, Barriera Margherita and Viale Allende to the training ground. Flat asphalt; aid stations as per the rules, also for coeliacs.
