The race
The Copenhagen Half Marathon (CPH Half) is a major international half marathon through the streets of Copenhagen and Frederiksberg, known for its fast course, precise organisation and the city's crowds: Geoffrey Kamworor broke the world record here in 2019. It is part of the SuperHalfs series and is organised by Sparta Atletik og Løb.
The 2027 race is on Sunday 19 September, starting in Østerbro, and will be the biggest ever, with 45,000 runners. Places were allocated through a free lottery from 16 to 30 September 2026 that drew 188,522 entries, the largest in Danish running history; from 5 October those drawn receive an email and have 48 hours to buy their entry for DKK 795 plus a 5% fee. In race week the Expo with LØBEREN is where bibs are collected; location and opening hours will be published later.

Rules and requirements
The 45,000 places for 2027 are allocated through a free, non-binding lottery (entries 16-30 September 2026, individually or in groups of up to 3; group members cannot also enter individually). From 5 October 2026 those drawn receive a personal link and have 48 hours to pay DKK 795 plus a 5% administration fee; anyone still in the draw will be contacted by email.
Names and details must match valid photo ID. Under-18s can take part with parental consent; runners with disabilities take part on the same terms and may bring an assistant, who must also be registered (not on a bike). Entries are binding, personal and non-refundable, cannot be transferred or moved to another edition, and there is no resale platform for 2027: anyone selling a bib privately is not selling a valid entry.
Refund Protect from Refundable.me can be added at purchase. Pregnant runners can defer to one of the next three editions. If the race is cancelled for force majeure or dangerous weather, fees are not refunded. Elite B and C starts are available for runners with qualifying times, with standards to be published.
