The race
The Maratona del Presidente is the race of the Club Super Marathon Italia, named after the club's founder Sergio Tampieri. The 2027 edition is scheduled for Sunday 24 January in Forlì, the day after the club's national assembly, also planned in Forlì on Saturday 23 January. Until 2025 the race was held between late summer and early autumn; in January 2026, for the club's thirtieth anniversary, the 16th edition moved to winter with a classic format: the marathon only, ten flat laps inside Parco Agosto in Forlì, a 9 am start and low fees.
That edition ended with 125 finishers. Start location, time, fees and rules for 2027 have not been published yet.
Course
The 2027 course has not been published yet. In 2026 the marathon was run on a flat loop of about 4.25 km, repeated ten times, inside Parco Agosto, the 27-hectare city park of Forlì named after Franco Agosto.
