The race
The Portogruaro Half Marathon, founded in 2022 and organised by Running Team Conegliano with the town council, holds its 5th edition on Sunday 8 November 2026. The half starts at 9:45 from Piazza della Repubblica and returns there, after a course that leaves the historic centre of this «little Venice» on the Lemene river towards Gruaro and Teglio Veneto, passing the Boldara mill and Villa Bombarda.
At 10:05 the non-competitive 5 km and 10 km town runs also start, open to everyone including Nordic walkers. The half is capped at 1,200 runners, with fees from €15 in spring to €30 until 5 November and €35-40 for entries at the village over the weekend. The square hosts the village with race office, talks and music; on Saturday there is also «Corri con me», a walk with four-legged friends. Shirt, race pack and medal are included.

Course
Start and finish in Piazza della Repubblica, in the centre of Portogruaro. The half marathon course (21.093 km, not certified, closed to traffic) leaves the old town and crosses the countryside of Gruaro and Teglio Veneto, passing the Boldara mill around km 6 and Villa Bombarda around km 17 before returning to town; in 2025 runners described it as technical, with short stretches on cycle paths and packed gravel.
The 2025 map shows several aid stations along the way, including one on Via Balbo, and a final refreshment area at the finish. The 5 and 10 km town runs start and finish on Corso Martiri della Libertà, on flat routes through the streets. A 3D video of the whole course is on the website.
