The race
The Rovigo in Love Half Marathon, organised by ASD Run It, celebrates its 6th edition on Sunday 7 February 2027, on the most romantic weekend of the year. The half marathon, on a certified course in the FIDAL calendar, starts at 9:30 from Corso del Popolo and finishes in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II, in the centre of Rovigo, on a fast and flowing route.
The same morning features the Relay in Love, a relay for couples on the same course with the changeover in Corso del Popolo, and the non-competitive City Run of 5 and 10 km, open to everyone. The race village and bib collection are in the historic Salone del Grano in Piazza Garibaldi. The half marathon fee starts at €30 and includes a T-shirt, medal, chip and drink stations; there are pacers from 1:24 to 2:10, showers at the Marvelli sports centre and a bag drop. Through its Charity Program the event supports a charitable project every year.

Course
Start in Corso del Popolo and finish in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II, Rovigo's main square, a few hundred metres apart. The half marathon course, measured and certified by FIDAL, runs through the centre and the outskirts of the city on roads closed to traffic; the organisers describe it as fast and flowing, and the Polesine plain makes it essentially flat.
The website publishes the official GPX track but not a list of streets. Four drink stations, roughly at km 5, 10, 15 and 20. The Relay in Love uses the same course, with the baton change in Corso del Popolo.

Rules and requirements
- FIDAL membersMembers of an Italian athletics club (Italian Athletics Federation).
- RuncardFIDAL card for runners without a club: buy it online and pair it with a competitive athletics medical certificate.
- Sports promotion bodiesMembers of an Italian sports promotion body recognised by FIDAL, with a competitive medical certificate.
- International runnersMembers of a federation affiliated to World Athletics, or with a Runcard and a competitive medical certificate.
Open to FIDAL members for 2027 from the Junior category (18 in 2027), members of foreign federations affiliated to World Athletics, and Runcard or Runcard EPS holders aged 20+ with a competitive medical certificate for athletics valid on 7 February 2027; unaffiliated foreign non-residents can run with a Runcard and a certificate from their country matching Italian tests, or in the «sport tourist» format from age 20 by signing a waiver, with no ranking or prizes.
Fees: €30 from 20 September to 31 December 2026, €35 until 31 January 2027, €40 until 4 February (online closing); €45 at the village on 5 and 6 February. Groups and clubs of at least 10 runners pay €30 until 20 January 2027. The fee includes bib, shirt, race pack, chip, drink stations, insurance and medical assistance, downloadable certificate and medal.
No refunds: by 20 January, for a €10 fee, you can transfer the entry to another person or defer it to the next edition. Time limit 3 hours. Prize money for the top three overall (€150, €100 and €80) and the top three Italians (€100, €70 and €50), category prizes in kind and prizes for the three largest clubs.
