The race
The STRALicata is a 10 km road race in the centre of Licata, organised by ASD Atletica Licata and listed in the FIDAL calendar. It is run on a 3,333-metre town loop covered three times, through the streets of the old town and around the marina.
Alongside the competitive race there is a 6.6 km non-competitive walk open to all, plus youth races. The meeting point is Piazza Progresso.
The 2026 edition, the eighth, was held on 1 March 2026 with a record 802 participants and 82 teams; the course records belong to Osama Zoglami (30:23) and Nicoletta Santonocito (36:42). The date and fees for 2027 have not yet been published.
Course
The loop measures 3,333 metres and is covered three times: it crosses Licata's old town and marina, including the pedestrian area of Via Principe di Napoli.
The elevation ranges from 9 to 23 metres above sea level, with an average gradient below 1%: a fast course, well suited to chasing a 10 km personal best.
