The race
The Stramilano Half Marathon opens the day of the 54th Stramilano on Sunday 21 March 2027. The half marathon, an international race approved by FIDAL and World Athletics, starts at 8:30 from Piazza Castello, with a second wave at 8:40, and returns to the same spot after a loop along the city's ramparts and avenues, with a turnaround in Piazza Buonarroti.
At 10:00 the Stramilano 10 km starts from Piazza del Duomo, followed at 10:30 by the Stramilanina 5 km: both are non-competitive, run at your own pace and open to people of all ages, finishing at the Arco della Pace. Half marathon entries are online until 18 March 2027, with fees from €35 to €55 rising by deadline, plus a €100 VIP Pass; the 10/5 km costs €18, or €25 for a parent with a child under 4.
Bibs and bags are collected at the Centro Stramilano, near the Duomo, from 13 to 20 March. After the finish in Piazza Castello, the Red Cross Athletes' Village offers bag drop, changing tents and physiotherapy massage. The 2026 edition sold out and passed 62,500 participants.
