The race
Every 1 November the Maratoneti del Tigullio club organises the 10 km Tigullio Run between Lavagna and Chiavari. In 2026, redevelopment works by the Liguria Region on the Lavagna bank of the Entella river make the FIDAL-certified course unusable.
To keep the date alive, this year only the race becomes Non è la 10 km: it is held on Sunday 1 November 2026, starting at 10:00 in Lavagna and finishing on the Chiavari seafront.
There is a competitive race and a non-competitive one, both of about 10 km. For 2026 the race is not on the FIDAL calendar and has new fees and categories.
Course
The start is in Lavagna, on Corso Genova next to Piazza Europa; the finish is on the Chiavari seafront. Start and finish are the same as the Tigullio Run.
The course is about 10 km long, passes through San Salvatore di Cogorno and Carasco and follows the banks of the Entella river for about 80% of the way. Only the opening section changes compared with previous editions.
If you come by car, you can park at the Colmata a mare car park, about 800 metres from the start.

Who can take part
The competitive race is open to runners aged 18 on race day who are:
- members of FIDAL or UISP Atletica Leggera for 2026;
- or non-members with a competitive sports medical certificate for athletics valid on 1 November 2026, attached to the entry or shown on site.
Fees and entries
- Competitive: €12 until 30 October, €15 on race morning.
- Non-competitive: €10, also on race day.
Online entries on iRunning close at 23:59 on Friday 30 October 2026; on race morning you can enter at the bib collection desk. Fees are not refundable, but until 24 October an entry can be transferred to another person or moved to 2027.
Time limits and services
- Time limit: 1 hour 30 for the competitive race, 2 hours 15 for the non-competitive one.
- Bag drop: vans take the bags from the start to the finish in Chiavari.
- A souvenir for every participant.
Prizes
Prizes for the top 3 men and women overall and the top 3 in each age group (18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70 plus). The 3 groups with the most finishers are also rewarded.
