The race
The Weekend Reale is Base Running's running event in Venaria Reale, through the Gardens of the Reggia, La Mandria Natural Park and the historic Savoy villages around it. Two days with a race for everyone: families, recreational runners and competitive athletes.
In 2026 it took place on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 October, with five races:
- Corsa del Principino & Family, 4 km non-competitive in the Gardens of the Reggia, Saturday at 15:30, accessible to pushchairs and wheelchairs: half of the proceeds went to the Fondazione Paideia
- Maratona Reale, 42.195 km on a certified course finishing in the Gran Parterre of the Reggia, Sunday at 9:00, time limit 5h30'
- Una Corsa da Re 30 km, new in 2026, with its own prize money, Sunday at 9:00, time limit 3h45'
- Una Corsa da Re 21 km, a certified 21.097 km through the Reggia, La Mandria Park, San Gillio and Druento, with prize money for the top eight overall, time limit 3 hours
- Una Corsa da Re 10 km, competitive and non-competitive, Sunday at 9:20, time limit 2 hours
The Sunday races sold out. Base Running's website has a waiting list for the 2027 edition.
