The race
The Fondazione Marmo White Marble Marathon takes place on Sunday 14 February 2027 in Marina di Carrara, starting at 9:00 from Viale Cristoforo Colombo, next to Carrara Fiere, home of the Expo and the finish. It is a FIDAL marathon organised by ASD World Running Academy, on a completely flat, paved course along the Apuan seafront, between Marina di Carrara, Marina di Massa and Cinquale di Montignoso.
Entry is open from age 20 to FIDAL members, Runcard or Runcard-EPS holders with a competitive athletics medical certificate and athletes from foreign clubs affiliated to World Athletics; foreigners without a membership can run a non-competitive race over the same distance. The fee ranges from €40 (until 31 October 2026) to €70, and the time limit is 6 hours.
The same day also features the WRA Half Marathon, the non-competitive 32K Marble Hero and the 10K «per Davide»; the Urban Trail takes place on Saturday.
