The race

The 8° Trofeo Lucera Città d'Arte – Memorial prof. Antonio Rinaldi is a competitive 9.9 km road race on a single loop through the streets of Lucera, organised by ASD Running Academy Lucera with the town council. It is a stage of the Grand Prix Capitanata Terra dell'Atletica 2026 provincial circuit and counts as the provincial individual road championship for under-18, under-20 and senior runners.

It takes place on Sunday 25 October 2026, starting at 9:30 from the Villa Comunale on Viale della Libertà; assembly and bib collection from 8:00. The time limit is 90 minutes. A non-competitive run over the same distance is open from age 18.
