The race
The Trofeo Santa Venera is a youth road-running event, now in its second edition, organised by Atletica Virtus Acireale on Sunday 8 November 2026 in the historic centre of Acireale, around Piazza Duomo. From 10:15 the age-group races follow one another: 100 and 300 metres on the straight for the youngest, then 400 metres, 800 for girls aged 12-13, 1200 for boys of the same age, 1600 for under-16 girls and 2000 for under-16 boys. Entry costs 3 euros and is made through clubs by 3 November; every participant receives a medal.
