The race
The Classica d'Autunno is a road race on the FIDAL regional calendar organised by ASD Riccione Podismo, under the patronage of the municipalities of Riccione and Coriano and in collaboration with the Fondazione Marco Simoncelli. The 43rd edition takes place on Sunday 25 October 2026, with runners meeting at 8:00 in via Caprera, at the Castello degli Agolanti in Riccione.
The course, on tarmac and mixed surfaces, climbs into the hills of Coriano, Riccione and Misano and includes an intermediate sprint at the monument to Marco Simoncelli. At 9:30 three events start together:
- the competitive 15 km, FIDAL-certified, with a time limit of 2 hours 30 minutes
- the timed non-competitive 15 km, open to everyone
- the 5.8 km fun walk/run
At 9:20 runners with strollers (up to 10), pushers and disabled athletes set off.

Rules and requirements
- FIDAL membersMembers of an Italian athletics club (Italian Athletics Federation).
- RuncardFIDAL card for runners without a club: buy it online and pair it with a competitive athletics medical certificate.
- Sports promotion bodiesMembers of an Italian sports promotion body recognised by FIDAL, with a competitive medical certificate.
The competitive race is open from age 18 to:
- FIDAL members
- Runcard and Runcard-EPS holders aged 20 and over, with a competitive medical certificate for athletics
- members of sports promotion bodies affiliated with FIDAL, with the same certificate
Advance entries are on ENDU until midnight on Wednesday 21 October: €18 for both 15 km events, rising to €25 on race day. The fun run costs €3 up to 5 minutes before the start. Groups entering in advance get one free entry for every 10 runners.
Timing by EVODATA chip built into the bib, FIDAL judges and medical assistance from the Riccione Red Cross. The top three men and women overall receive shopping vouchers worth €100, €80 and €60.
