SuperHalfs EUROPA 2027: the 6 new half marathons, dates and how the series works

SuperHalfs EUROPA is a new series of six half marathons announced by SuperHalfs on 6 November 2026 and supported by Generali. It starts in 2027 and covers six cities in six countries: Naples (21 February), Warsaw (14 March), Belgrade (17 April), Vienna (18 April), Riga (16 May) and Stockholm (21 August). The six founding races keep going as a separate series, now called SuperHalfs ORIGINALS.

The six SuperHalfs EUROPA races in 2027

Six races, six cities, six countries. The season runs from February to August, and mid-April brings a back-to-back weekend: Belgrade on Saturday 17 and Vienna on Sunday 18.

Naples opens the season

The Coelmo Napoli City Half Marathon on Sunday 21 February 2027 is the first race on the whole SuperHalfs calendar, and the only one in Italy. It starts at 9:00 from the Mostra d'Oltremare, has a 3 h 30 min time limit and runs past the sea and the historic city, with Vesuvius in the background. It is also where the Italian records were set: Yeman Crippa ran 59:01 here in February 2026, and Sofiia Yaremchuk set the women's record in 2024.

How it works: SuperPassport and SuperMedal

  1. Sign up for free at superhalfs.com to get your SuperPassport. The same number works for both series.
  2. Enter a race through its own website: each race runs its own registration, usually first come, first served, and switches to a ballot only when demand is far above capacity. Add your SuperPassport number on the entry form.
  3. Every finish earns a stamp. Progress in each series is tracked separately.
  4. Finish all six races of a series to receive that series' SuperMedal. Any order, no time limit.

Existing SuperHalfs runners do not need to do anything: the same account, email and SuperPassport number cover EUROPA too. If you entered a race before the announcement, add your number in your runner account on the race website. EUROPA races run before 2027 cannot be claimed.

ORIGINALS vs EUROPA

The six founding races (Lisbon, Prague, Berlin, Copenhagen, Cardiff and Valencia) are now SuperHalfs ORIGINALS, and nothing changes for them. The two series are independent: run one, or both in parallel. In SuperHalfs' own words: 12 races, two series, two journeys, two SuperPassports, two SuperMedals.

Frequently asked questions

When does SuperHalfs EUROPA start?
In 2027. The first race is the Coelmo Napoli City Half Marathon on 21 February and the last is the adidas Stockholm Half Marathon on 21 August.
Which cities are in SuperHalfs EUROPA?
Naples (Italy), Warsaw (Poland), Belgrade (Serbia), Vienna (Austria), Riga (Latvia) and Stockholm (Sweden).
Do I need a new SuperPassport for the new series?
No. Your account, email and SuperPassport number stay the same; SuperHalfs tracks your progress in each series separately.
Can I run ORIGINALS and EUROPA at the same time?
Yes, in parallel and in any order. Each series has its own SuperMedal, so three races from one and three from the other do not earn a medal.
Is there a time limit to complete a series?
No. You can run the six races whenever you like.
Can I claim EUROPA races I ran in previous years?
No. Only races run from the year they join the series count, so from 2027 onwards.
